Sarah Oas is BUILD's Project Manager, where she works to advance community-driven initiatives that promote stability, health, and opportunity.
Sarah began her career in the dental field, working as a clinical dental hygienist and later as a Dental Care Manager with UPMC, where she focused on improving access to care and coordinating community-based health programs. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in outreach, program coordination, and serving underserved populations.
Motivated to expand her impact, Sarah earned her MBA from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, along with additional training in project management. She now brings a blend of hands-on community experience and strategic thinking to her work at BUILD, helping move projects forward.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys staying connected to her community through volunteerism, which includes service with Remote Area Medical (RAM). She has also held leadership roles such as Past President of the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association and has served as a National Delegate for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
